Photos: Capturing Tibet

The following pictures are a set of high definition photos of Tibet posted on the website of the Wall Street Journal. They were taken by the National Geographic photographer Michael Yamashita who set out to chronicle a rapidly changing Tibet. He has amassed two years of sightings in which he followed the route through southwestern China along which Tibetans once traded horses for tea.
