Chinese First Lady Peng Liyuan revisited the Lincoln Center located in New York Monday, 10 years after she first visited the center as a famous singer in China.

For the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the United Nations and at the invitation of the Lincoln Center, Peng along with other composers brought the Chinese famous opera, Mulan, to the world’s top art palace on September 18, 2005.

As this year marks the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, Peng not only revisited the Lincoln Center as the First Lady of China, but also as an old friend. Peng admitted that she felt like revisiting an old place and meeting old friends.

Mr. Huang, who accompanied Peng to visit the Lincoln Center not only this time, but also 10 years ago, said that Peng was very happy to meet her old friends there.

Peng’s friends at the Lincoln Center said they did not expect Peng to still remember them, and were very delighted by her visit.
