Family members outraged by Chinese officials' response at briefing

Four Chinese officials appeared at a briefing at Lido Hotel on the afternoon of March 10. It was the first time senior Chinese officials face the grieved family members, over 60 hours after the flight MH370 went missing. Photo: Billie Feng

One of the officials Zhai Leiming (翟雷鸣), who is from the Minisitry of Foreign Affairs, said his friend was also aboard. They said the rescue team are still searching for the plane and will never give up efforts. But family members were furious with the 'official statement' and demanded immediate investigations into whether the plane was hijacked.
