Do you know how air purifiers work? And are you concerned about whether your face masks can truly protect you from the PM 2.5? Have you ever thought about making a cheap DIY air purifier that will actually significantly reduce the amount of pollution in your home?
Come and join Sino-US.com’s upcoming event where you can learn about how to make a DIY air purifier.
As the winter is coming, do you know how much worse the winter air is in Beijing compared to the rest of the year? To get to the bottom of it, Thomas Talhelm, the inventor of Smart Air, analyzed the PM 2.5 data from the US embassy for the last seven years. He found that the capital's air has averaged 111 micrograms in the winter versus 92 micrograms during the rest of the year.
Speaker Aily is currently working at Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and a part-time member of the Smart Air team. She will tell the story of Smart Air and share knowledge about how to get clean air at home.
Bonus for visitors: the Smart Air team will offer 10 free 3M 9322 masks that day. To win a free 3M 9322 mask, you should forward the message in your Moments, and send a screenshot to the WeChat account of Sino-US.com (ID: sinous2012).
