Spend time in Anren ancient town of Chengdu, SW China

A compound built in the Republic of China (1911-1949) is seen in Anren(安仁), an ancient town in Dayi(大邑) County of Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, May 23, 2013. Anren Town was first built in ancient China's Tang Dynasty (618-907). Most of its buildings were constructed in late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and early Republic of China. Anren is also a national youth education base, one of national 4A grade tourism attractions, a national key cultural relic protection unit and the place in which “one of the six flowers” of Sichuan-Liu’s Mansion locates. As a famous Sichuan historic & cultural town, one of the 10 ancient tourism towns in Sichuan and a key town to be supported by the province and city, Anren is applying for the title of “China’s Famous Historic & Cultural Town”.
