Born in the 1990s, China's youngest migrant workers

Wu Xiangjun(吴香君), born in Huaihua. Hunan province, 1996, was graduated from a technical secondary school and is now an assembly worker in a car factory in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, a coastal province in Eastern China. Wu’s internship income is about 1,100 yuan (US$ 177.1)

According to statistics, in cities of China there are about 200 million migrant workers from the countryside.  In recent years, more young people born in the 1990s which is about 40 million join the group. Photo: Zhejiang Daily
