The Westin Beijing Financial Street has appointed Nadia Frisina as the new chef of its Prego Italian Restaurant in February. Having worked in well-known restaurants and hotels in Italy, Frisina has gained a wealth of culinary experience. Her talent in Italian cuisine will bring a refreshing dining experience to guests.

This is the first time for the Italian chef to work in China. She has great knowledge of Italian food and all the traditional Italian cooking procedures. She is skilled at putting her own stamp on traditional dishes and creating new combinations.

“It’s a pleasure for me to be the ambassador of Italian food around the world. I want more and more Chinese people to understand Italian cuisine. I will also improve my communication with my Chinese guests to create dishes for Chinese people’s taste,” said Frisina. The new master Italian chef has introduced her new a la carte menu bursting with authentic Italian flavors, with some of the ingredients directly imported from Italy.
